This long running variety series was originally titled "Toast of the Town", but beginning in the eighth season (1955-1956), it was renamed "The Ed Sullivan Show" and ran another fifteen seasons until it was cancelled in 1972. Vaughn Monroe appeared as one of the many celebrity guests and sang a medley of his hit songs. |
